K-Mav Chewable Vitamin K Tablets 50 Tablets

Vitamin K is an essential co-factor in the hepatic synthesis of prothrombin and other blood clotting factors. Phytomenadione is a naturally occuring vitamin K.

It is the only vitamin K compound used to reverse hypoprothrombinaemia and haemmorhage caused by anticoagulant overdose

50mg Phytomenadione (Vitamin K1).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Tablets may be used 5 -7 days at the rate of 1 tablet per 4 - 40Kg bodyweight daily, depending on the severity of condition, clinical response and changing clotting times.

Tablets may be crumbled and added to food.

Prothombin levels should be evaluated at least every 3 days for 9 to 10 days by your veterinarian. If prolongation of clotting time remains, reinstitute therapy for another 1 to 2 weeks.

Indications:

• Warfarin and second generation hydroxycoumarin anticoagulant poisoning of cats and dogs
• Sweet clover poisoning in cattle and horses
