Local and regional anaesthetic. Lignocaine works by affecting the nerve cell membrane's permeability to sodium ions

Active Ingredients

lignocaine as HCl 17.2mg/ml

Precautions

Use with care in any heart condition not already contraindicated. Lignocaine is metabolised by the liver; give with caution to animals with hepatic insufficiency. Plasma half-life of lignocaine may be prolonged where hepatic blood flow is reduced.

Storage

Store below 30°C (room temperature). Protect from light.
